SVALBARD

Creative resolution takes time sometimes. In 2022 I visited Svalbard, an archipelago between northern Norway and the North Pole. The view flying in, was spectacular. I wanted to use the experience in a piece of work, but couldn’t figure out how. Later on I made a version of the 2022 work Metamorphosis in white, suddenly I could see the peaks and made the Svalbard vase, in 2024.
